We stayed in one of the apartments for two weeks in April of 2025 with 4 people and I can highly recommend booking it. Location: It is centrally located at Al Farabi Street meaning calling a Yandex Taxi takes all but a few minutes and you can easily reach a supermarket, pharmacy and food joints by foot. Dostyk plaza and downtown are also very close. The continuous traffic does provide some noise but we had a light sleeper in our group who slept fine and did not need any ear plugs. Apartment: it is spacious, clean and comfortably furnished. All necessary things for everyday life (kitchenware, towels, washing machine, extra blankets, ironing board) are provided. We did not manage to open the Netflix app on the TV but YouTube worked just fine. The WiFi is also very good throughout the whole apartment. Communication: my mother handled all the communication via WhatsApp, please be aware that most business in Kazakhstan is done via WhatsApp. The contact person was always friendly and helpful when it came to any questions from our side. Building: the building complex is new and modern. Entry is gained only via key chip and code, making it extra secure. I recommend writing down the exact address and building number you are staying in, as these are relatively new buildings and they are numbered, so if you order anything to be delivered there might be no confusion as to which house you’re going. All in all, highly recommend these apartments as they are a great alternative to hotels with more privacy and more of a “home” feeling to them. Thank you again to the host and owner for managing our stay and providing us a home during our stay in Almaty!
