Қазақ КСР ғылым Академиясының ғимараттар кешені – 1948-1953 жылдары салынған үлкен сәулет ансамблі. Кешеннің бас жобалаушысы көрнекті сәулетші – сәулет корифейі, фундаменталист, көптеген көрнекті құрылыстардың, атап айтқанда Мәскеудегі Ленин кесенесінің авторы, академик Алексей Викторович Щусев болды. Сәулетшілер мен жобалаушылардан құралған жұмыс тобының жетекшісі – осы саланың көрнекті маманы, инженер А. И. Простаков болды. The complex of buildings of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR is a grandiose architectural ensemble built in 1948-1953. The general designer of the complex was an outstanding architect - a coryphaeus of architecture, a fundamentalist, academician Alexei Viktorovich Shchusev, the author of many remarkable structures, in particular the Lenin Mausoleum in Moscow. A prominent specialist in this field, engineer A. I. Prostakov, became the head of the working group of leading architects and designers. The architecture of the building uses classical motifs and stylized elements of the national ornament.
