The zoo has very poor living conditions for the animals, they live in cramped cages/enclosers a lot of the animals are in zoochosis. There was a jaguar/leopard that had a lame paw and no tail! Needed to be in a shelter not a zoo. The zoo looks like as if it hasn’t been upgraded since the Soviet Union and they should really either do a complete rebuild or close and let the poor animals go. Honestly going there my hopes were quite high but after leaving I was sad and felt much better about the zoos I’ve been to in the past..
